Deep relaxation for body and mind – a way of relaxing that takes you to a place where you are not fully awake but not asleep either – a liminal space.
Yoga Nidra sessions begin with very gentle, therapeutic movement to ease tension from your body. You then find your perfect relaxation position often supported by props (bolsters, pillows blankets and eye bags) and are guided into deep relaxation by mentally following verbal instructions.
Yoga Nidra or Yoga sleep is mainly practiced lying or sitting so is suitable for all bodies. No experience necessary. No equipment required but a mat, blanket and pillow are nice to have. All can be provided.
